Mauer | 11 september 2010 (Germany)
Last weekend we (Mark, Fred and Valentin) went to Mauer for the "6th Schwere Badische Classic Geländefahrt".
Mark Reul rode his Penton 125cc - 1969, Fred his Bultaco 250cc - 1972 and Valentin the KTM 250cc - 1975.

Saturdaymorning at 9.00 am. the first riders started their engines for 3 laps.
1 lap was 43 kms. and we had to do it 3 times. There were 3 time-checks. Lovely enduro weather, sunny 23°C. About 200 riders kick their bike alive in Mauer.

A few kms after the start, we did a little tricky hillclimb and after 30 min. we arrived at the first time-check. No rush.... so up to TC 2 and 3. Lovely eezy riding lap... and we did it 3 times.

This year the organization put a really mud-hole for the spectators, not that difficult but showman Bruno Bierschenk did 3x a really schwalbe from left to right and gave the spectators a really mud-shower.

Great to see some old champs shaking the boogie with their bikes at the special test... and still going very fast !
We arrived at the finish about 16.00 pm. Happy as ever and very satisfied.

After some steaks and apple pie we hit the road back to Belgium.

We loved this event like the others, great organization, the club of MSC Mauer did a great job! See you all in 2012 !
