Michel at day 3...in the green, green grass of hope....
Michel at 'the fuel-station' at day 3.
Here you can see clearly
the BSA fuel-tank.
Look at the exhaust pipe...nothing special...it changed in 1972...
Normally the Belgian drivers had to ride at the Six Days the 'yellow' helmets...but that wasn't enough for Michel, he also drank out of a...'yellow' can...and at the meantime he put the screw on of his rear wheel !!
Juuuuuump ! Not spectacular, but he's in the middle of a special test...
and to much 'air-time' = 'loosing-time' !
And again he didn't wear his goggle...
This is a moment you normally never forget...riding a special-test and the sea in front of ya...but I think he didn't get the time to enjoy the view !
You can see that the weather conditions where very good....
Aaaaargh, where is the fuel-station???
.....smoke in the back... so...gaaaazzz...
